We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paint Spray Booth Helper to join our team. As a Paint Spray Booth Helper, you will play a crucial role in supporting our paint department by assisting with the preparation, application, and finishing of paint on various surfaces and products. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the efficient and safe operation of the paint spray booth.

Key Responsibilities

Preparation:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
- Assist in the mixing and preparation of paint materials, ensuring accurate ratios and consistency.
Spray Booth Operation:
- Set up and operate paint spray equipment, including spray guns, air compressors, and ventilation systems.
- Monitor and adjust paint spray equipment settings to achieve desired finish and coverage.
- Ensure the proper functioning of the spray booth’s ventilation and filtration systems.
Quality Control:
- Inspect painted surfaces for defects, such as runs or streaks, and make necessary touch-ups or adjustments.
- Follow quality control processes to maintain high product standards.
Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe handling of chemicals.
- Report any safety hazards or incidents to the supervisor immediately.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the spray booth and surrounding equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance on paint spray equipment and report any malfunctions or issues.

Qualifications

– Previous experience as a Paint Spray Booth – Helper or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
– Basic knowledge of painting techniques and equipment operation.
– Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
– Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
– Excellent communication skills.
– Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and techniques.
– Physical stamina and the ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects as needed.
