We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Specialist to join our team and support our manufacturing ERP system. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date information in our ERP system, ensuring smooth operations and data-driven decision-making.
– Accurately enter data into the manufacturing ERP system, including production orders, inventory updates, purchase orders, sales orders, and more.
– Review and verify data for completeness, accuracy, and adherence to established guidelines.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as production, procurement, and inventory, to ensure seamless data flow.
– Identify and correct any discrepancies in data, working to resolve issues promptly.
– Assist in generating regular reports and performance metrics based on ERP data.
– Maintain data confidentiality and security in accordance with company policies.
– Contribute to ongoing improvements of data entry processes and ERP system usage.
– Proven experience in data entry, preferably within a manufacturing or ERP environment.
– Familiarity with manufacturing terminology, processes, and inventory concepts.
– Proficiency in using ERP software systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) for data entry.
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent keyboarding skills.
– Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
– Problem-solving attitude and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
– Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
– High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or relevant certifications are a plus.
– Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data analysis is a plus.
