Pay: $34-38/hr
Shift: Monday – Friday | 5:00am-2:00pm
Frontier Door and Cabinet is experiencing tremendous growth, with high market potential, and is seeking a highly motivated, seasoned CDL Driver to join our team! You will transport cabinets and doors to active job sites using different types of vehicles, over a variety of distances. Upon arrival at the job site, the driver is responsible for the safe unloading of the product and without damage. The driver hired for this role will need to work the assigned shift, which does have hours that include mandatory overtime.
– Complete Pre-trip Inspection and Post-trip inspections per requirements.
– Ensure the contents of truck are properly secured to prevent damage or injury.
– Maintain records, such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, or billing statements, in accordance with local law and regulations. Read maps and follow written or verbal geographic directions.
– Verify the contents of inventory loads against shipping paperwork.
– Assist a team of Shipping Helpers unload products after arriving at the delivery site.
– Skilled and comfortable with driving and parking large, commercial vehicles.
– Ability to understand, read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation maintenance instructions.
– Proficient with reading tape measures and other measurement tools. Proficient with GPS and other routing systems.
– At least one (1) year of work-related experience in commercial truck driving.
– Valid Class-A Commercial Driver’s License required
– Clean driving record with no moving violations.
– High School diploma or GED.
– Ability to sit, stand, twist, bend, squat, push and move for 8-10 hours per day.
– Ability to lift and/or move products weighing upwards of 100lbs, utilizing team-lifts when appropriate.
– Ability to pass DOT physical, audio and visual evaluations in accordance with local, state and federal regulations.
