Project Coordinator (Tacoma, WA)

Pay: $25-30/hr 

Shift: M-F | Day Shift 

Frontier Door and Cabinet is seeking a motivated Project Coordinator to oversee various commercial and residential projects, including tenant improvement projects, projects requiring intricate planning and execution, and projects for high-value customers. These projects encompass cabinet, casework, door, and millwork installations. This role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and the flexibility to support multiple departments and projects. The position primarily involves office-based work with periodic travel to job sites.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive the coordination and management of a diverse range of commercial and residential projects.
  • Utilize software systems such as Agility, Zoho, and Excel to meticulously manage project schedules, sales orders, estimates, and change orders.
  • Provide adept support to multiple departments and projects, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration between internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain a composed and positive demeanor while handling daily office tasks, including clerical duties, communication with customers, and database management.
  • Demonstrate receptiveness to feedback and adaptability to evolving project requirements, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
  • Exercise strong organizational and time management skills to meet assigned deadlines and ensure the successful completion of projects.
  • Uphold a professional communication style at all times, reflecting the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction and organizational integrity.
  • Assume ownership of new and diverse tasks, enhancing the organization’s reputation and expanding the scope of the role through proactive problem-solving and value-added contributions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma or GED.  
  • Associate degree preferred.
  • Construction environment experience or one year experience in a similar role.
  • A combination of education and related experience may substitute for education requirements.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for efficient data management and analysis.
  • Aptitude in navigating web browsers, search portals, and online data retrieval systems to support project coordination and research.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, coupled with strong administrative abilities for effective correspondence and customer interaction.
  • Ability to maintain exceptional organization amidst competing priorities, showcasing self-discipline and strong time management capabilities.
  • Commitment to meeting assigned deadlines and exceeding expectations, driven by a genuine care and passion for customer and company satisfaction.
