Custom Product Project Manager (Tacoma, WA)

Salary: $81,000 – $90,000 Per Year

Custom Product Project Manager – Build What Doesn’t Exist (Yet!)

Are you the kind of person who looks at a space and instantly starts thinking, “How was this built—and how could it be better?” Do you thrive in the space between design vision and real-world execution? If so, we’ve got a role that will keep you energized, challenged, and constantly learning.

We’re looking for a Custom Product Project Manager to lead the charge on one-of-a-kind builds across high-end environments—think stunning apartment common areas, cutting-edge schools, sophisticated hospitals, luxury condos, boutique hotels, and standout restaurants. No two projects are the same, and that’s exactly the point.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Own projects from concept to completion—turning ideas into tangible, installable realities
  • Collaborate with designers, fabricators, and field teams to bring custom elements to life
  • Work across a wide range of materials: cabinetry, millwork, trim, metals, upholstery, and emerging materials
  • Dive deep into project scope, site conditions, and constraints—then problem-solve your way through them
  • Evaluate buildability, installation methods, and long-term performance
  • Navigate the unexpected with confidence (because let’s be honest—custom work always has surprises)

Why This Role is Different:
This isn’t cookie-cutter project management. This is where creativity meets technical know-how. You’ll constantly be learning—new materials, new methods, new ways to solve problems that don’t have obvious answers. Every project is a puzzle, and you’re the one putting the pieces together.

What Makes You a Great Fit:

  • You’re curious, resourceful, and not afraid of a challenge
  • You can balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail
  • You understand (or are eager to learn) how things are actually built and installed
  • You communicate clearly across teams—from design visionaries to hands-on installers
  • You see industry knowledge not just as experience, but as a superpower

What You’ll Get:

  • The chance to work on visually striking, high-impact projects
  • A role where no two days—or builds—are the same
  • Continuous learning and exposure to new materials and techniques
  • A collaborative team that values problem-solving and innovation

If you’re ready to step into a role where you’ll stretch your skills, expand your knowledge, and help create spaces people remember—this is it.

Let’s build something incredible.
