Door Shop Production Supervisor (Phoenix, AZ)

Pay: $30-$35 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Door Shop Production Supervisor to join our Phoenix branch. This is a hands-on role responsible for overseeing daily production operations primarily focused on multi-family and single-family-for-rent door and millwork projects. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient workflow, high-quality production standards, and accurate inventory control.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise daily production activities in door assembly, machining, and millwork operations.
Be able to set up, run, and train on various door machining equipment.
Lead, mentor, and manage production teams to achieve productivity and quality targets.
Maintain accurate inventory records, oversee stock management, and perform routine
inventory audits.
Coordinate scheduling to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.
Implement and enforce standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
Identify and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring timely resolutions.
Collaborate closely with project management, purchasing, and shipping departments to ensure
smooth operations.
Conduct regular quality control inspections to maintain consistent standards.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Minimum of 3-5 years supervisory experience in door manufacturing, millwork, or related
production environment.
Strong knowledge of door and millwork products, materials, and manufacturing processes.
Proven experience with inventory control and management practices.
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production documents.
Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Familiarity with production scheduling software and ERP systems preferred.
Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Professional communication and demeanor at all times. Must be able to communicate to both
management and staff clearly.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Honesty and integrity, ability to exercise good judgment.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
A sense of urgency and a passion for customer and company satisfaction
Regular attendance.
Good with math.
Able to read a tape measure.
Knowledge of different types of machines and tools used in them.
Alertness in detecting any deviation in the functioning of the machine.
Ability to understand read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and
maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English.
Awareness about safety issues and alertness to avoid any mishap.

Standing approximately 8-10 hours, 5 days a week, depending on business need, may be
required to work 6 days/week depending on business need.

Regular twisting, bending, squatting, pushing, pivoting, and moving or lifting up to 100 pounds.
Employees will frequently lift and/or move 10-25 pounds while occasionally lift and/or move up
to 50 pounds.
- Conveyance systems and rollers are available to move pieces.
