Door Shop Production Supervisor (Phoenix, AZ)

Pay: $30-$35 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Door Shop Production Supervisor to join our Phoenix branch. This is a hands-on role responsible for overseeing daily production operations primarily focused on multi-family and single-family-for-rent door and millwork projects. The ideal candidate will ensure efficient workflow, high-quality production standards, and accurate inventory control.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise daily production activities in door assembly, machining, and millwork operations.
  • Be able to set up, run, and train on various door machining equipment.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage production teams to achieve productivity and quality targets.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, oversee stock management, and perform routine
    inventory audits.
  • Coordinate scheduling to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.
  • Implement and enforce standard operating procedures and safety protocols.
  • Identify and troubleshoot production issues, ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Collaborate closely with project management, purchasing, and shipping departments to ensure
    smooth operations.
  • Conduct regular quality control inspections to maintain consistent standards.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Minimum of 3-5 years supervisory experience in door manufacturing, millwork, or related
    production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of door and millwork products, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Proven experience with inventory control and management practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production documents.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with production scheduling software and ERP systems preferred.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement initiatives.

    management and staff clearly.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Honesty and integrity, ability to exercise good judgment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • A sense of urgency and a passion for customer and company satisfaction
  • Regular attendance.
  • Good with math.
  • Able to read a tape measure.
  • Knowledge of different types of machines and tools used in them.
  • Alertness in detecting any deviation in the functioning of the machine.
  • Ability to understand read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and
    maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English.
  • Awareness about safety issues and alertness to avoid any mishap.

  • Standing approximately 8-10 hours, 5 days a week, depending on business need, may be
    required to work 6 days/week depending on business need.

    reading that may be very fine print.
  • Regular twisting, bending, squatting, pushing, pivoting, and moving or lifting up to 100 pounds.
  • Employees will frequently lift and/or move 10-25 pounds while occasionally lift and/or move up
    to 50 pounds.
    • Conveyance systems and rollers are available to move pieces.
