Hardware Quality Assurance Associate (Tacoma, WA)

Pay: $20-$25/hr

Schedule: Mon-Fri 

This position will be responsible for interpreting quality issues reported from the field and processing warranty requests.  The position requires close collaboration with the Install, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams.

Reports to: Quality Manager

  • Manage quality ticketing system in Zoho Helpdesk.
  • Interpret warranty requests from the field to determine best path for remediation.
  • Generate warranty work orders in project management system.
  • Coordinate and communicate work order completion and deliveries.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive communication and responsiveness.
  • Ensure vendor satisfaction by communicating with vendors proactively, clearly, and often. 
  • Set schedule for assignment completion with supervisor and work to keep schedule.


  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Manufacturing or Construction experience is desired, but not required.


  • Professional communication and demeanor at all times. Must be able to communicate to both management and staff clearly.  
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Honesty and integrity, ability to exercise good judgment.
  • Use of Blue-Beam and other cabinet industry specific software (training provided).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word. 
  • A sense of urgency and a passion for customer and company satisfaction.
  • Regular attendance.
  • Ability to understand read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals in English.
  • Awareness about safety issues and alertness to avoid any mishap.

  • Constant sitting – up to 8 hours/day, 5 days a week.  May be required to work 6 days/week depending on business need.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, particularly reading that may be very fine print.
