Project Manager (Commercial Doors)

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Project Manager to plan, organize, and lead our projects from initial design to completion! Frontier Door and Cabinet’s Project Managers are the main point of contact for our customers regarding scheduling, material procurement, and submittals. Our ideal candidate must be able to read and interpret customer drawings and specifications.

Interested applicants should possess the following

-Excellent customer service skills, both verbal and written.
-Ability to run 3-5 projects at any given time, ranging from 250K – 1 million
-Proven ability to work well within a team.
-Problem-solver who can “think outside of the box” when faced with challenges.
-Knowledge of building construction and compliance (i.e. permits).
-Understanding of project budgets and plans to allocate funds by stage or labor, coordinate materials, or any changes throughout the project.
-Understanding of union contracts and subcontract terms.
-Ability to read and comprehend architectural drawings and specifications.
-Excellent organization skills.
-Ability to meet deadlines and milestones.


-Leadership. Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and lead a project from initial design to completion.
-A sense of urgency and a passion for customer and company satisfaction.
-Collaboration skills to quickly and permanently resolve issues.
-Demonstrated ability to read and interpret customer drawings and specifications.


-Knowledge of the commercial construction industry.
-Technical knowledge of blueprints and construction of doors and cabinetry is highly desirable.
-Minimum 2-4 years of experience working in a Project Manager role or similar experience.


-Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Construction Management or related field is desired or minimum 2-4 years proven work experience in Project or Construction Management.


All standard office equipment including phone, fax, copier, printer, calculator, ten key, and computer. Applicant should be proficient with all Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, Word and email. Other engineering tools include a variety of rulers and templates.
