This position assembles finished products and the parts that go into them. They use tools, machines, and their hands to put together cabinet and drawer pieces and more. Team assemblers work on an assembly line, but they rotate through different tasks, rather than specializing in a single task. The team may decide how the work is assigned and how different tasks are done. Some aspects of lean production, such as rotating tasks and seeking worker input on improving the assembly process, are common to all assembly and fabrication occupations.
-Confers with management and supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills.
-Develops and maintains network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
-Reviews applications and interviews applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements, and to provide information about the organization and position.
-Screens and refers candidates for additional interviews with others in organization.
-Preferably 1 year of recruiting experience in non-exempt position
-Must be able to effectively read, write, and speak in English
-Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
-Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust
