Single-Family Residential Project Manager (El Paso, TX)

Salary: $45,000.00 – 55,000.00 Per Year

Schedule: Monday – Friday 

As a Project Manager, you will oversee all aspects of single-family residential projects from inception to completion. You will serve as the primary point of contact for both internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. This role will encompass managing cabinet, casework, door, frame, and hardware aspects of the projects, and potentially other custom and specialty items. The Project Manager will oversee projects in our broad service area of the Southwest, including Colorado, Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage all phases of cabinet, casework, door, frame, and hardware projects for single-family homes.
  • Ensure projects are executed within budget constraints to achieve profitability.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with internal teams and subcontractors.
  • Monitor and achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to project performance.
  • Communicate project status and schedules regularly with executive leadership, installation subcontractors, and accounting departments.
  • Conduct pre-construction meetings and coordinate material approvals and sequencing.
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials to job sites and manage project changes effectively.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, architects, and vendors to ensure satisfaction and project success.
  • Provide accurate billing and cost projections to the accounting department.
  • Prepare and manage submittal packages, change orders, and project documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in the cabinet, casework, door, frame, and/or hardware industry preferred.
  • High School Diploma or GED required; some college coursework or Bachelor’s degree is a plus.
  • Ability to read construction plans and specifications.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and project management software.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific tools such as Blue-Beam and Emullion is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in using email, internet, and project management software.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
  • Exceptional people skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Knowledgeable in single-family or multi-family construction processes and industry standards.

Safety Equipment

Frontier Door and Cabinet’s Safety Program and all established safety rules must be followed, and equipment used where required. This will include safety glasses and hearing protection. This position will also require use of gloves, safety glasses, and dust masks.
