Receiving Associate (Phoenix, AZ)

Pay: $22.00 – $24.00 Per Hour 

Schedule: Monday – Friday | Day Shift

The Warehouse Associate will operate machines in the production of cabinets or doors and millwork from raw materials to finished products. While also assisting in unloading products in receiving or loading products in shipping. This role will need to work the assigned shift, including any mandatory overtime.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Receiving and Inspection:

  • Verify and record incoming shipments against purchase orders and invoices.
  • Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report findings to the appropriate personnel.
  • Ensure all received items are accurately and promptly entered into the inventory system.

Inventory Management:

  • Organize and maintain the storage facility for easy access and efficient workflow.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and participate in inventory audits.
  • Coordinate with the purchasing department to manage inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed.

Quality Control:

  • Ensure that all items meet the company’s quality standards.
  • Collaborate with the production team to address any quality issues with incoming materials.

Safety and Compliance:

  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Ensure the storage facility complies with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other departments, including production, purchasing, and logistics, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior receiving staff.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in supply chain management is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a receiving role, preferably in a door, millwork, or hardware environment.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items, when necessary.

SAFETY EQUIPMENT

Frontier Door and Cabinet’s Safety Program and all established safety rules must be followed, and equipment used where required. This will include safety glasses, safety shoes, and hearing protection (when needed) while on the production floor.
