Pay: $45,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
Frontier Door and Cabinet is the premier provider of interior and exterior doors and millwork and high-quality cabinets for the commercial construction industry. The company is experiencing tremendous growth and recently expanded into El Paso, TX.
We are looking for a Plant Accountant, which will report to the Regional Controller in Washington state. There is plenty of opportunity for growth. Are you curious by nature? Detailed oriented? Someone that questions why things are done the way they are? Are you interested in helping build a division from the ground up?
-Accounts Payable, including prioritizing invoices based on the amount of funds released to the plant
-Bank Reconciliations
-Incoming checks report
-Month End/Year end close
-Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts
-Plant fixed asset accounting
-Cost accounting and analysis for regional VP
-Assure compliance with local taxing jurisdictions
-Implement processes and procedures
-Establish and maintain proper internal controls for the plant
-Assist in hiring new administrative staff as needed
-Biannual travel to corporate office in Washington state
-Other tasks and duties as needed
-Bachelor’s degree in accounting
-2-3 years of progressive accounting experience
-Able to exercise good judgment
-General understanding of GAAP
-Tech savvy ability to handle multiple ERP systems
-Able to communicate through email and teams with corporate office in Washington state
-Intermediate excel skills
